Supporting The Pillars of Our Community

Habiba Community supports Bedouin women in Nuweiba through practical training, cultural preservation and income generating activities. Our mission focuses on helping women build sustainable livelihoods through their own skills and creativity. Each program creates space for confidence, community leadership and long-term resilience for local families.

WOMAD Sinai

Women create handmade jewelry, textiles, accessories and natural products inspired by Bedouin traditions. These items are sold locally, helping women earn independent income while keeping their cultural heritage alive.

Diamonds of Sinai

This initiative offers workshops in sewing, embroidery, natural cosmetics and other practical skills. The program supports young mothers, encourages creativity, strengthens hygiene awareness and opens new economic opportunities for women across the community.

Our Programs

Our initiatives aim to expand skills, create income pathways and strengthen the social fabric of Nuweiba. Each step supports women in building a confident and secure future for themselves and their families.

  • Training in sewing, embroidery, jewelry and natural cosmetics
  • WOMAD crafts that support women led income
  • Skills development through Diamonds of Sinai
  • Permaculture workshops for widows and backyard gardens

We aim to welcome more women, deepen training opportunities and expand creative product lines that reflect the spirit of Sinai.
